I love to scrapbook and to do crafty projects. It is my therapy. It is an outlet for me to be creative. Doing so helps me relax and keeps me sane. I wish I could get paid in doing what I love to do. Since I love to scrapbook and be crafty, I figure why not show what I create.

Mini Album Project

Well I finally finished my mini album project made from chipboard.  I have never done one before.  I was prompted to work on one since I challenged a couple of my great scrappin friends to do a similar project.  As a Christmas gift I gave them both a chipboard mini album.  They both were thrilled and looked at me wondering what were they going to do with it.  So for a while I am sure they didn't think much of it until I challenged them to make something out of it.  I suggested to create an album about anything they loved since Valentine's day is coming soon.  Well they went off with their own ideas and told me that I should do one myself.  Well luckily I had a chipboard album but was different from theirs.  It was one I had for a while and didn't know what to do with it either.  So I went ahead with the project but went in a different direction, somewhat.  It is about love but it is more like a family album. (Of course I do love my family so it has both themes in one.) Well one of my friends, Erica, finished hers too and it turned out awesome.  I can't wait to see how my other friend, Alicia, did with her album.  Come on Alicia finish up.
Most of the items I used for this album was from Nikki Sivils.  I used her 'Tree' chipboard album and her coordinating paper line called 'My Sweet Cherry Pie'.  I like how it turned out.  I won't mind trying out another chipboard album again soon.

Well on to the next project.  Working on a sketch challenge.

  1. I love it J! You need to send it to Julie from Nikki's blog, she is the one that deals with people, other than the design team, using Nikki's stuff!
