Check them out...
On my first entry I used this add-on sketch #9 to create an invitation card.
For this card, I was able to use up some scraps that I had on hand to put it together. I used a small tag with a ribbon for the word "Smile". I stamped the word "Celebrate" to create the center piece and also cut out the edges to resemble the print on the black background paper. I also popped it up to give it some dimension. I used the flash piece as a tab to open the card. Inside is "Who, What, Where, & When" that I cut out with my Cricut using the Stamping cartridge.
On my second entry, I used this card sketch #11 to create a one-page LO.
For this LO, I immediately knew what pictures I wanted to use. Even though they are a few years old, I just love how the kids were just sitting so nicely and posing for the camera. I think they look so cute. Well I used two pictures instead of 3 panels as my variation. The materials I used for most of what you see is from My Mind's Eye the "Ooh LaLa" collection. I added my own solid color paper as the background. I had some brads that I added onto the corners. I roughed up the edges of the printed background panel and chalked the edges of the strips with Chestnut Roan. For the title I stenciled in the letters and popped up my journal circle.
Since I was on the card sketch, I created a card for personal use. I plan to give it to my friend's mom who just had surgery.
For this card, I used paper from My Mind's Eye the "So Sophia" collection. As well with this one, I roughed up the edges of the background panel. Chalked the edges of the the strips using Blue and Chestnut Roan. I popped up the three red squares to give them dimension. I then added floral rub-ons and letter stickers.
On my last entry, I used this one-page sketch #14 to create a two-page LO.
I really liked this sketch so much that I made it into a two-page LO to be able to fit these pictures I wanted to include. (My husband and kids can be so silly!) I used paper from Dream Street Papers Inc. the "Fun & Games" collection. (I thought it was perfect with the pictures.) With my variation, I stretched the sketch to two pages. Instead of the banners, I used my new circular 12x12 template to create the dots to connect the pages.
For the title panel, I put in a star cut-up from the paper collection instead of the candles. Used chipboard letters for the title. I used the circle cut-up instead of strips for my journaling.
Here I cut out the oval shape and the "havin fun!" words from the 12x12 cut-up sheet.
Well thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed viewing my entries. At this moment, I am planning on creating an advent calendar. Hopefully I can get the materials together and start working on the project. I am very excited about it. Will post as soon as I get it done.
Happy Thanksgiving,
J
